Her commitment to zero-waste, transparent supply chains, and minimal carbon footprints has revolutionized the Nepalese fashion industry. Shrestha's work earned her a place in The Fashion Museum, making her the first Nepali-origin designer recognized in this prestigious institution.
Recently, she was named a finalist for the ‘Environmental/Sustainable Business of the Year’ at the Lincolnshire Business Excellence Awards 2024, marking her second consecutive nomination. This recognition highlights her profound impact on sustainability and ethical practices within the industry.
Additionally, Sanyukta has received nominations in the Asian Wedding Awards 2024 for ‘Wedding Boutique of the Year,’ ‘Best Wedding Outfit Designer,’ and the ‘Bridal Buyer - Sustainability Award,’ winning the Highly Commended Best Wedding Outfit Designer 2024. Her achievements were celebrated at 10 Downing Street by then-Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
