Hydration Is Crucial

The summer season, with its long days and warm night, is a time of joy and renewal. The sun shines longer in the summer and the longer the sun shines, the hotter it gets. The sun's rays also hit the Earth at a steep angle in the summer increasing the amount of solar energy focused on one area and contributing to the increased heat in summer.

As the temperature rise and the day’s gets hotter, it’s time to keep self-hydrated and fresh throughout the day. So we prefer having various drinks and meanwhile some drinks might cause dehydration.

Drinks that should be avoided during the summer are:

  1. Hot coffee
  2. Sugary smoothies
  3. High sodium drinks
  4. Alcohol
  5. Energy drinks
  6. Fruits juices
  7. Carbonated drinks

As there is higher chances of dehydration in this 30-40 °C. Keep yourself hydrated, refreshed and energetic and take care of you and your close one. Have the drinks like lassi, lemon water, ORS (oral rehydration solution) and a lot of water this summer and also avoid heavy meal.
