THE AVENGERS ACTRESS BREAKING THE GENDER STEREOTYPES
The newly single actress, Scarlett Johansson was honoured by amfAR, the foundation fighting to end the global AIDS epidemic. The event produced by AAB Productions/Andy Boose has become one of the New York City’s most successful and high-profile AIDS benefit events. Till now, the amfAR New York Gala has raised more than $17 million. Since 1998, the Gala event has been attracting, the biggest names in entertainment, fashion, art and AIDS advocacy.
The marvellous event, hosted by Lena Dunham, paid homage to Scarlett Johansson and Donatella Versace for their longstanding support of amfAR. The Avengers actress also smashes gender stereotypes by her appearance as well as with her speech. She dedicated her speech to her mom’s best friend who died from AIDS.
All this time, she was wearing custom made Versace tuxedo with white shawl collar and jewellery from Harry Winston. Likewise, the other honorary of the event, Donatella Versace was wearing silver gown with cowl neck. Elle Goulding, Naomi Campbell and Paris Hilton also attended the spectacular event.
