Anuj Nagarkoti (Styling)-Junatra Films Pvt. Ltd
Internship in styling has been an incredibly transformative experience for me. It provided a unique opportunity to immerse myself in the fashion industry, learn from experienced professionals, and develop my own skills and style. The internship involved collaborating with photographers, models, makeup artists and designers. I have also been actively involved in sourcing dresses for shoots, which includes identifying and procuring the right pieces to fit the desired aesthetic and theme of each project. The working environment is very positive and friendly. I also assist in selecting the right locations for shoots, helping models and artists with their dresses, contributing to the overall visual appeal and coherence of the final shots.
Prem kumari Budathoki (Manufacture)-Arcadiya Creation
Internship at a fashion manufacturing company has been a transformative experience for me. Ensuring the quality of the final product is essential. I participate in quality control checks, identifying defects and ensuring that garments met the required standards. I help the cutting master with layering and often marked the inseam on pattern layouts, ensuring accuracy in the production process. It is fascinating to see how raw materials are transformed into finished products, and the meticulous care that goes into every step of the process. Overall, the internship at the fashion manufacturing company has been pivotal experience that has deepened my understanding of the fashion industry.

Plus Size Nepal is a clothing brand for heavy weight women. The internship is pretty good and learning so many things in this company. My position here is Fashion Stylist, editor and sales. I’m here to learn, gain experience and groom my skills which is a great company for me to upgrade and learn about more plus size clothing. I dealt with customers, sales and styled them.

Interning at a fashion Journalism where I’ve had the opportunity to write a variety of articles, including trend reports, designer interviews and features on fashion events. I’ve learned to pitch ideas, conduct thorough research, and edit content to meet high editorial standards. Attending fashion shows and events has given me valuable insights into the fashion world and helped me build a network. Additionally, I’ve gained experience with social media content creation and digital publishing, including using analytics to understand reader engagement. This internship is significantly enhancing my writing skills and industry knowledge.
Shilpa Matanchhea (Garment)-Heritage Fashion
I’m interning at a garment company where I’m involved in various stages of the production process. My duties include assisting the cutting master with fabric layering, ensuring quality control of materials, marking pattern layouts, learning about dyeing techniques, and helping with packaging finished garments. I’ve gained hands-on experience with different fabrics, dyeing processes, and the importance of precision in cutting and pattern making. Working closely with experienced professionals has given me a deeper understanding of the garment manufacturing workflow and the critical role of quality control in producing high-quality garments. This internship is enhancing my technical skills and providing valuable insights into the fashion industry.
