2. Rasna Shrestha (Women’s wear fusion)

Rasna Shrestha also known as Mu Ce is a leading fashion designer who has been working in a fashion field since 2009. She has showcased her designs in many fashion shows in both national and international level. She has also showcased her designs in Canada, America, India and Australia.

Like I always say, I believe in simplicity and elegance with a touch of class in it, this time also my designs will reveal the same essence in my collection which is very pure and pleasing to wear. I am using soft bamboo cotton fabric from Hembo blended with modern style and ready to wear classy trends.

People are more focused on the environmental problems and water pollution issues in Nepal. It may impact on manufacturing chemical based textile which may leads to promote more eco friendly textiles in future.

I expect people to appreciate and understand that natural fabrics can also make the best garments in the fashion industry of Nepal which is also eco friendly and cost effective.

3. Aakash Shrestha (Evening wear)

As a creative enthusiast, I have always  been curious about and trying different forms  of  art  to express myself and ideas in more beautiful and meaningful ways possible...throughout the journey I got my actual calling and  found  my true passion  for  creative arts in fashion design  when  I started making made to measure outfits for  myself. I went out more on exploring and practicing different ideas and techniques through self taught and practice method  for  few years. I decided  to  go Paris, the capital  fashion for  formal education and for my training  in French Haute couture fashion. Now, I am persistent on developing collections, marketing them under my brand name Nepamode and establishing strongly a few years to come as the first Nepali Prêt a Porter Haute gamme fashion brand with great essence  of  Nepali heritage globally.

For this collaborative project with Hembo Nepal, my collection named belle ET bees, resonates to different eras  of history where  fashion  was a vivid symbol and method  of evoking women empowerment and their  prominent roles  in major social issues as politics and economy. Outfits ranges  from  voluminous dresses to puffed mutton sleeves from Victorian era  to masculine shirt, high waist pant, coatdress and  calf length pleated dress from 40s with  medieval art deco embroidery of bees, flowers and dense leaves in constant try to compare and celebrate the  vibrant varied beauty, diligence and great contribution  of women n bees  for  the  existence of  human civilization on earth through each design.

Nepal, as  small  country  with abundant natural resources to work on and through the concept of globalization and technological advances Nepal can  be  one of the  few  biggest producer and supplier natural  fiber, eco fabric  and even ready  outfits  from  affordable to  luxury. We can combat to lessen the climate change effects as plastic fiber based mass production clothes are not here to stay long ultimately, we  should  be optimistic and strive hard in  parallel.

As per the expectations from  the  show, I would  consider show  to  be  a very prominent platform  to showcase our creativity on natural fibre and my brand aesthetic as a  fashion  designer. It shall also be influential way to promote the use and importance of natural fiber. The concept of made in Nepal and make in Nepal will change the conventional thoughts in global community.

She has worked as Costume designer for Nepali movie ' Ma chu ni timro' and Kasthamandap Art Studio for 'Wearable Art Show' 2006

Nepali are becoming more health conscious nowadays - be it diet, exercise and now eco friendly fabric. I can see bright future for eco friendly textile in Nepal too.
May Sagitta's designs be noticed in this happening Fabric to Fashion runway and may this show be remembered by the great audiences.
