Last week, an event on the title “Generation towards Global Trend” organized under the framework of Pashmina Enhancement and Trade Support (PETS) project.

After months of training courses and internship periods the products were displayed in the fashion show. The major objective of the training course was to strengthen the Chyangra Pashmina (CP) sector through training of future CP Fashion designers as well as expand NCFT’S design course offerings and indirectly also to contribute in the promotion of CP products and trademark in National and International market in close collaboration with NPIA and CP enterprises. The training was given to the 12th Batch students of Namuna College of Fashion Technology.

All designs were by the 1st and 2nd Batch students from Pashmina fashion design and technology course at Namuna College of Fashion Technology (NCFT) with a close collaboration with NPIA and member enterprises. The Pashmina Fashion show had four of the sequences,”Queen of woollen fibres”, “Glimpse of soft gold”, “Warmth of the Himalayas” and “Beauty and the Beast”. All the amazing sequences beautifully crafted/designed by the students and the graceful walk of all the stunning models became a major highlight of the show.
