1.  How do you think the concept of beauty and fashion has changed over the course of your career?

Throughout my career, the concept of beauty and fashion has undergone a significant transformation. There is now a stronger focus on individuality, authenticity, and personal expression, allowing for a more diverse range of beauty and fashion to be celebrated. The industry has become more inclusive, embracing various body types, skin tones, and cultural backgrounds, which makes fashion accessible to a broader audience. Additionally, there is an increasing appreciation for timeless and versatile pieces over transient trends.

2. Can you share the story behind the inception of Pepper by Sweekrity? What’s the driving philosophy behind the brand?

The inspiration behind starting "Pepper by Sweekrity" stemmed from my deep passion for fashion design and a desire to create a brand that reflects my personal style—bold, vibrant, and full of life, much like the spice pepper. The aim is to design pieces that stand out, make a statement, and boost the confidence of those who wear them.

3. As the Managing Director of The Face Nepal, how do you envision shaping the future of Nepalese fashion? What are some of the challenges and triumphs you’ve experienced in this role?

For me, a model is more than just someone with beautiful features. I look for that distinctive quality—a look that can powerfully convey the story a brand wishes to tell. With the right pose, body language, and camera-facing practice, a model is truly ready to shine. My journey with 'The Face Nepal' has been incredibly rewarding. It has given me the opportunity to witness and contribute to the growth of many talented individuals, helping them build confidence and establish their presence in the fashion industry. Creating and nurturing this platform has also been a learning experience for me, teaching valuable lessons in leadership, collaboration, and talent development. It's been a space where I’ve had the chance to discover and embrace my authentic self.

4. What inspired you to take on the role of Event Head for Man of the Year Nepal? How do you see this platform influencing the fashion and modeling industry in Nepal?

Stepping into the role of Event Head for Man of the Year Nepal was a natural progression in my fashion industry journey. After years of modeling and immersing myself in different facets of the industry, I wanted to leverage my experience to elevate events that celebrate talent and creativity. My leadership role with The Face Nepal provided the foundation for this, and the experience has been both challenging and rewarding. The most fulfilling aspect for me is mentoring and guiding participants, helping them grow not just as models but as individuals. Seeing their transformation throughout the event and contributing to an event that showcases Nepali talent on a grand scale is incredibly gratifying.

5. What’s something about the fashion industry that most people might not realize? How do you navigate these lesser-known challenges?

Many people might not realize that the fashion industry is heavily reliant on collaboration and networking. Additionally, being flexible and willing to learn and adapt is crucial for navigating the industry's constant changes and staying successful.

6. Could you walk us through your creative process when designing a new collection? Where do you draw inspiration from?

Designing a new collection is a meticulous process that integrates creativity, strategic planning, and precise execution. It begins with gathering inspiration, which I source from a wide range of influences, including nature, art, cultural heritage, and even particular moods or emotions. From this foundation, I start sketching and refining ideas, carefully selecting silhouettes, fabrics, and details that will cohesively bring the collection’s vision to life.

7. Who are your biggest influences in the fashion world? How have they shaped your journey as a designer and model?

My biggest influencers in the fashion world are those who have seamlessly blended creativity, business acumen, and the ability to challenge norms. Icons like Alexander McQueen and Coco Chanel have profoundly shaped my journey as both a designer and model.
